# Why

Normal DeathBan plugins ban the player upon death

FakeDeathBan is different though.

FakeDeathBan doesn't ban the player. It puts them into spectator mode and they are forced to spectate one [selected player](#user-content-fn-1)[^1]

Players will often get bored because they cannot see the battle or something happening right now in the server. This is the reason why I created this plugin in the first place
